What the programme includes
- Cossack songs — rich multipart vocals ranging from lyrical drawn-out songs to lively marching numbers. We tailor the repertoire to the event, from traditional folk standards to well-known Cossack favourites.
- Weapon-spinning displays — demonstrations with shashka swords, sabres, and axes, as well as striking light-sabre routines for a contemporary accent.
- Instrumental accompaniment — live instruments such as bayan, garmon, percussion, and strings, or a high-quality backing track.
- Authentic costumes — vivid, historically informed looks that reinforce the character of each act.
- Interactive elements — short weapon-spinning workshops using safe training props, invitations for guests to join the performers, choral refrains, and photographs with the props.
Running-time options
- 15–20 minutes — a compact segment with three or four songs and one or two weapon-spinning numbers. Ideal for an opening, an activity zone, or a segment within a larger programme.
- 30–40 minutes — a balanced set with an expanded song selection, two or three visual acts, and one interactive element.
- 60 minutes or more — a full show alternating songs and weapon-spinning displays, moving from lyricism to high energy, with interactive sections and short theatrical sketches.
Choose your line-up
- Solo singer and weapon performer — compact and dynamic.
- Duo or trio of singers with one or two weapon performers — rich harmony and a strong visual impact.
- Ensemble of four to eight performers — maximum scale with vocals, weapon-spinning, instruments, and choreographed sequences.
Advantages
- Powerful visuals: the weapon-spinning displays communicate without words and impress any audience.
- Flexible presentation: we can emphasise tradition or create a contemporary show, including the use of illuminated props.
- Audience involvement: interactive elements are adapted to the guests’ ages and the size of the venue, from an intimate evening to a city festival.
- Safety: audience activities use training props, and the performers have specialist training and stage experience.
